Restorative Yoga for PTSD with Elda & Sarah

 This healing yoga class is good for anyone who has suffered from prolonged stress, PTSD, anxiety or depression.  Yoga is a powerful tool to treat the symptoms of PTSD. Yoga impacts the mind and the body through asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing), and meditations. The antidote to stress is relaxation. Restorative Yoga focuses on moving a student into the parasympathetic nervous system to activate the brain’s relaxation response.  Essentially, restorative yoga provides an opportunity to help re-wire a survivor’s brain to move out of fight-or-flight and survival mode. Elda will guide the Restorative Yoga session. She has studied with and assisted Judith Hanson Lasater, the leading expert on Restorative Yoga.  Sarah will intuitively guide through healing and clearing meditations throughout class.
$25 for members $30 for non-members
