Meditation with Mélissa
Mediation is a very effective way to achieve deep relaxation of the body and the mind. It allows our body to restore and heal, and it also helps us cope with daily situations that otherwise deplete our energy. The benefits are vast and more and more doctors are recommending meditation to their patients as a proven technique to help create inner peace and wellness.
Establishing a meditation practice can be one of the most holistically beneficial and enriching things you can do for your life, but sitting still and quieting the mind can be a lot more challenging than it sounds. Allow us to guide you through different techniques and help you to establish the foundation of your own liberating practice.
This class is not a full hour of meditation. It may incorporate some gentle movement and yoga postures (asana), as well as meditation instruction, guided practice(s) and discussion.
No experience necessary, just an open mind. Regular practitioners will also benefit.

Dress in layers and bring a yoga mat, water, and something comfortable to sit on (cushion or pillow). You may also want to bring a journal and a pen.
