Krista came to Moksha Yoga Hamilton in January 2011 and never looked back. She credits yoga with opening her heart, and teaching her to be more compassionate both with herself and with others. She explains that “yoga has taken all of my sharp edges, and somehow softened them.” Yoga keeps Krista grounded, and has allowed her to learn the importance of breathing through difficult situations, both on and off her mat.
She is amazed at how a regular practice has helped heal her sports injuries, and brings some peace to her chaotic mind. Yoga lets her gain perspective on what makes her brain so busy, and gives her the tools to let it go. The support of the Moksha community, and her love of teaching inspired Krista to take the Level 1 Teacher Training in Kelowna BC in July 2014 and Moksha Flow in Toronto in 2016. Her intention is to share what she has learned about finding her way to a more peaceful, balanced existence through breath and movement.
