Erin started doing yoga in her late teen years, as a means of rehabilitation after a knee injury from playing soccer. Yoga helps Erin to relax, stay grounded and brings a certain calmness and clarity to every aspect of her life. It has had a profound impact on how she handles problems, carries herself and her interactions with peers and in relationships.
Yoga has been a bit of a saving grace for Erin in terms of keeping her mind clear and heart full. She shares that she “cannot imagine not wanting to share and bring that to others people’s lives.” Erin completed the Moksha Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training in Victoria, B.C. in June 2013. She is inspired by those who carry their practice off the mat and take it into their daily lives. Erin loves seeing how yoga can have such an impact on someone’s life that is beyond something physical.
