Elda’s love for yoga began as a young child, where she practiced off and on until she fell in love with Moksha Yoga Hamilton’s hot room in 2011. She finds that her dedicated practice allows her to have more energy, a fit body, a greater sense of community, gratitude and peace. It also helps her manage day to day stresses. Elda has experienced the benefits of yoga first hand and couldn’t keep it to herself any longer! This is what embarked her journey in 2012 for the Moksha Yoga Teacher Training.
Elda has done workshops with some very famous yogis and amazing teachers including, Rodney Yee & Colleen Saidman-Yee, Jay Karlinski, Natasha Rizopoulos, Kelly Morris, Seane Corne, Suzanne Sterling..the list goes on and on! Elda trained with Judith Hanson Lasater and is now a Restorative Yoga Instructor. She has also completed the Moksha Yoga Flow Training and is certified as an Advance Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga Instructor.
Elda gets her inspiration from Jessica Robertson and Ted Grand, co-founders of Moksha Yoga Inc. and their creation of the 7 Pillars of Moksha that commit to ethical, compassionate and environmentally conscious living. She is a true yogi at heart , a vegan and has a passion for environmentally conscious and healthy eating.
